Hello bootleg lovers, today we’ll be looking at the HG Murasame
from Gundam Seed Destiny series. It is one of the transformable MS in the
series. It’s like flying type of M1 Astray. This kit has 2 variations, the
first is the mass production type which will be reviewed here and the other one
is the Andrew Custom. The Andrew Custom has different color scheme which is
mostly yellow. If you like Astray-ish MS, this kit is worth to have.

UNBOXING
The boxart is very attractive with the shooting pose of the
MS. It also shows the Mobile Armor mode. This kit comes in only one plastic bag
for runners. For your information, the plastic is dusty as usual.
RUNNERS
We get glossy finish on this kit which is good. As usual,
this kit comes with standbase. Just like any other mass produced type MS, we
get decals of numbers and logos.
PARTS
Head
The head is pretty good. It’s very Astray-ish. The chin is
very long. I think the face mask should be higher but fortunately the eyes
sticker perfectly fit so it makes the face better. The sticker on the top is
awful. It’s placed on a round surface so it cannot stick well. But overall look is good.
Torso
This part will discuss the body and the backpack since they
can’t be separated. The body itself has some problems. The red parts on the
chest are loose and the flip mechanism for the transformation doesn’t work well
on MS mode. If you can see from the side of the body there is a gap, that’s
what I mean. For the backpack, they are designed well but the black stickers
are annoying. I just want to put them on since it will look so plain if I
didn’t do it. In term of design, the body and the backpack are very good.
Arms
The arms are all white except the red shiny stickers on the
elbow. There is no problem here.
Waist
The skirts are very good, especially the front skirt. The
side skirts are pegged on the side of the legs.
Legs
The legs are unique since they’re transformable. They also
have that annoying black stickers. The design of the feet is very good.
Weapons and Accessories
The weapons for MS mode are not that many. Only shield, beam
rifle and beam saber. But there are big missiles for the Mobile Armor mode. We
also get the hip unit for transformation and the landing gears.
Standart Pose
Pretty nice kit, I like the proportion and the overall look.
Transformation
The transformation is pretty simple and it looks amazing
with that aeroplane wings and Zeta-ish nose cone.
Verdict
This kit is very good in term of design, both the MS and MA
mode. But how is the articulation? Stay tuned for the next part.
