Yep, it is an old High Grade from Gao Gao that some people said has some problems compared to the newer ones like 00 series. I don't know why but when I bought this kit, the seller said that this kit is the most popular kit in his shop.

UNBOXING

The box art is pretty nice and colorful. We can see the Gao Gao logo there. On the side of the box, we got some nice shots of the kit. The box contains 2 plastic bags for runners and a manual. The manual is in english, so don't worry. As you can see, the runners might scratch each other. For your information, the plastic bags are a little bit dusty, maybe it was the excess dust from the company. So consider to open the bags softly or we might get attacked by the dust troops ;p

RUNNERS

The plastic is very glossy which is nice. But personally, I don't like it too much. There are some scratches and stress marks on the parts. My suggestion is check the parts first when you buy it at the store, if they allowed you to. The parts you should check first are face mask, v-fin and hands. They are the most fragile parts and Gao Gao often misshaped them. Of course, do check any other parts just in case there is a broken part.

PARTS

Head

I got a problem on the v-fin. It's a little bit loose on the red part, so be careful when moving the head around. The face mask is a little bit misshaped if we compare to the Bandai one.

Torso

I did not put the stickers on the chest because the stickers will easily scratched off.

Arms

The white boomerang parts on the shoulders are loose. We might need a super glue to thicken the pegs. By the way, I like the hand cover, it looks like a boxing glove.

Waist

Each skirt armor has a joint, which is nice.

Legs

Yep, the knee only bends that far if you are wondering. But it can be fixed, I will fix it later. The ankle are loose on mine.

Backpack

A pretty nice looking backpack. I like the black-red color scheme, kinda devilish. :p

Weapons and Accessories

The main selling point on this kit are the weapons and accessories. We got so many of them. The sword has a folding gimmick and it got a beam effect part. The cannon also has folding gimmick. The shield can be opened to show more details. The beam rifle has moving handle and scope. And yep, we got the Destiny Hand gimmick. But the fingers are stressed on mine, unlucky. And the last is the Wing of Light effects. Unlike the Master Grade's, it is a thick plastic which is not good considering the weight of the backpack will be increased. But still, very nice accessories.

Stickers

I only used the sensor and eyes stickers. Unfortunately, the shield sticker is not good so I did not put it.

STANDArt POSE

Pretty nice looking kit, isn't it? :)

VERDICT

Well, in terms of coloring, it's standard for main gundam on the series. But for being an old kit, the proportion is still not that good, especially on the legs. Is it worth to buy? Yes if we want to get many accessories. But how about the articulation? I will post it later in the Part 2. So, stay tuned and feel free to comment.

See you guys in the next posts ;)
