Hello bootleg lovers, today we’ll be looking at the 1/144 HG
Sword Impulse from Seed Destiny series. Another Gao Gao kit which is a worth
buy. Everything is snapfitted easily without a problem.

UNBOXING
The boxart is pretty colorful with the red body and purple beam
swords. We might be attracted with the purple swords it has before we know that
the purple are stickers. It also shows the flyer modes. The runners are packed
together in one plastic bag which is bad.
RUNNERS
The runners are glossy which is good. It will make the
building process much easier. As usual we get stand base for Seed kits. The
stickers are good enough, you can apply them if you so choose.
PARTS
Head
The head is good enough. But the face mask has excess
plastic which can be removed by sanding. The mouth should be higher since it
leaves a gap between the mouth and the mask. The eyes sticker is very good on
mine.
Torso
The body design reminds me of Build Burning Gundam from GBF
Try series. It is pretty colorful and easy to build. But the core fighter
inside the body tends to pop off everytime.
Arms
The arms are very good. There is no problem when building
the arms
Waist
The skirts are well designed. It looks plain but we can put
the grey stickers on the front skirts.
Legs
Everything is okay when building the legs.
Weapons and Accessories
Of course Sword Impulse has swords as the main weapon. We
get twin swords with beam effect parts on each. They can be combined to be a
dual edged sword. Unfortunately the swords only molded in white color. The
purple are on stickers. We also get the core lander in full white color, a
compact mode shield, a normal beam rifle and a pair of boomerang effect parts.
Backpack
The backpack is unique. It’s longer than I expected. We can
attach the swords to the arms on the side of it. The first picture shows the
sword flyer without the front part. The second one is when it attached on the
back. The V part can be detached to be a pair of beam boomerangs handle.
Standart Pose
A very good looking kit. The proportion is not so good
though.
Verdict
This kit is pretty good with the vibrant colors and the
accessories it has. How is the articulation? Stay tuned for the next part.
