HG 1/144 Tieren Ground Type (Gao Gao / TT Hongli) Review Part 3

Hello bootleg lovers, this is the last part of the review of HG 1/144 Tieren Ground Type from Gao Gao. After we know the details of each part we can conclude whether this kit is good or not.

Mold

The mold is good enough although some small parts like the antenna and the cube parts on the shoulders are a little bit misshaped. There are some excess plastic but not much. 

Color

The color is perfect. The dark grey also reproduced very nicely. 

Detail

As usual, the panel lines on Gao Gao kits are always wider. Some details also misshaped. But still good enough.

Snapfit

Almost all parts are perfectly fit. Some parts need to be trimmed but not much.

Sticker

As you can see on the first part of this review, I couldn’t use the sticker. So I cannot give scores to this part because it’s so bad. It’s a little bit unfortunate for me that I couldn’t use the monoeye sticker.

Face mask

No face mask on this mobile suit because it’s not gundam face. So the point will be for the head itself. You can barely see that the helmet part that covering the eye should be bigger. It is thinner compared to the original, so it will look like surprised. But still, not really changed the look of the head. So it’s still good enough.

Stiffnes

This aspect is the best of this kit. Everything is solid, no loose parts on this kit. It also stands pretty well, of course because it is a ground type MS. I think it’s caused by the big feet it has. The joints also very good, not too stiff and not too loose.

Finish

This is what I want for ground type kits, a matte finish. And Gao Gao made it nicely. The matte finish makes the kit more lively especially for a tank-like MS.

Articulation

The details of the articulation has been discussed on the part 2, so overall articulation is very good for a bulky mobile suit.

Playability

This kit doesn’t have so many weapons, only beam rifle and a blade but the shield makes it more playable for the one who like defense more. The monoeye gimmick also makes it more playable.
