HG 1/144 Gundam X Maoh (Huiyan Model) Review Part 3

This is the last part of the review of HG 1/144 Gundam X Maoh from Huiyan Model. After we know the details of each part we can conclude whether this kit is good or not.

Mold

The mold is amazing, No excess plastic on this kit. I look at every edge on this kit and they are perfectly shaped.

Color

The color representation is very good. There is no more dull color on this kit.

Detail

Every detail on this kit is so good. I can say that the panel lines also as narrow as the original except on the legs.

Snapfit

There is nothing to say for the snapfit. Everything is perfectly fine.

Sticker

The sticker on this kit is very good. It’s well cut, perfect coloring and nice stickiness. It also as thin as the original, unlike the Dragon Momoko’s that a little bit thicker.

Face mask

The face mask and the eyes shape are good. But the face mask should be a little bit higher.

Stiffness 

Everything is not that stiff. Maybe the ‘perfect’ polycaps also affect negatively to the solidness on this kit.

Finish

The finish is smooth doff which is very good.

Articulation

The details of the articulation has been discussed on the part 2, so overall articulation is normal. This kit doesn’t need amazing articulation because it’s not a melee fighter.

Playability

Along with the gimmick of each weapon it has, we can imagine how good this kit will be played. The movie itself also affects the playability with the shining parts which are applied as light purple stickers on the actual kit.
