HG 1/144 Gundam AGE-1 Normal (Dragon Momoko) Review Part 2

Hello bootleg lovers, let’s continue the review to the articulation. You can see the first part of this review in HG 1/144 AGE 1Normal (Dragon Momoko) Review Part 1. I’ve made a video for this part so we can know clearly how the articulation on this kit. But I cannot upload it yet. So yeah, I took the picture from the video. So let’s start.

Head

The head has double joints so it can go up and down and rotate on the upper ball joint, up and down more on the hinge. Unfortunately it’s a little bit loose on the ball joint. So when it is moved up too much, it will pop off.

Torso

It has a stomach ball joint but it’s so tight on mine. It can only move forward and back and side to side a little. It has ball joint on the waist so it can rotate and up and down more.

Arms

The arm has the best articulation. It has joint on the torso to move up and down and forward and back.

It also rotates on the peg

It can go pretty high up along with the shoulder joint

The elbow can bend on 2 points so the hand can touch its own shoulder.
The hand is on a normal ball joint. So it can rotate and wiggle. But the left wrist joint is loose on mine. Unfortunately there is no separate wrist joint like on the 00.

Skirt

The front skirt can move together. We can separate them though. The side skirt unfortunately is on ball joint so it tends to pop off if the torso is moved around. The back skirt also moves together. So the skirt articulation is pretty good.

Legs

Well, the leg has almost the best articulation. It has separate joint from the waist so it can move up and down and forward and back separate from the waist.

The leg can go all the way up.

It also go all the way out.

It rotates below the hip. Very nice.

Yes, the knee is double jointed. So it can bend like that

The foot guard can move only a little. The foot has normal ankle joint so it can go up and down on the upper joint, and rotate and side to side on the ball joint.

So overall articulation is very good on this kit. Of course, to be a new kit it is a requirement to have this kind of articulation. Yes, AGE 1 Normal can do so many poses with this kind of articulation. The joints also stiff enough if you read the first part of the review you will know that the problem of putting the peg into polycaps are so tight give us good stiff joints. So that’s it about the articulation. And you know what, the review will not be finished on this part. I will give my final verdict and scoring about this kit. So see you in the next review. Feel free to comment guys. :)
